Week 46

Week 1: 247.6
Week 46: 205.6
Loss of 42 pounds.

Since week 45 I lost .6 of a pound. I'm up .6 from yesterday (I think I ate too much chicken cheese enchilada).

I may not be able to report on Week 47 since it will be Thanksgiving Day and I'll be away from the internet. I'll catch up when we return home.

Today we are going to the annual Thanksgiving lunch at McNary Dam where a plethora of amazing dishes will be presented. I must stay away from the desserts and heavy salads--like potato salad. It won't be easy, but I am stronger than the call of the food.

Week 45

Week Zero: 247.6
Week 45: 206.2
Total loss: 41.4

Unless something miraculous happens I will not make the -52 pound mark this year. But can I really feel bad about only losing 41.4 pounds instead of 45 (at week 45)? No, I cannot. I feel very thrilled to have come this far. My sister reported to me this morning that she read that many people gain 10-15 pounds a year. Thankfully I have lost.

My goal now is to be 199.8 or 200 by December 31 and I think that is doable. Yes, Thanksgiving is coming up. We will be in Texas where my son and daughter-in-law do very healthy cooking. And they now live in the country and I am sure that my granddaughters and I will get some walking in.

I have seven weeks left for the year. Seven weeks=seven pounds? I do hope so.

Last year on this date I weighed about 256 (I don't have the actual weight written for November 12) so I weigh 50 pounds less. I had started Calorie King on Oct. 3 at 261.

If you who know me are reading this, you know of my battle for years with my weight. If you are reading this and you have no idea who I am, let me assure you that if I can do this by counting calories and exercising, you can do it too.

Week 44

I seem to be going the wrong way lately. We traveled last week to Nebraska and when traveling keeping track of food eaten is always a problem for me.

Week 42 207
Week 43 207.6
Week 44 208.6

I was as high as 210 again so at least I'm off that. I didn't take a picture on November 1 since I looked the same as October 1.

I'm still doing my exercising and I'm not giving up, but realistically speaking I don't think I'll hit the 52 pound loss mark. Now I'm aiming to get to 200 for a 47.6 pound loss.

I am happy to report that a year ago I weighed 50 pounds more than I do now.
